My
training methods are based on reward and motivation, with additional focus on
body language as a silent communication technique. Private Training: No
one knows your pooch better than you. Do they socialise well with other dogs?
Do they socialise well with other people?! Do they have a disability or require
individual attention? Then ask all of these questions of yourself. Perhaps you
are hard of hearing, unsteady on your feet or just plain shy! NO PROBLEM! My
sessions are open to dogs and people of all abilities and all walks of life. If,
for whatever reason, you and your dog require individual attention, then that's
what you'll get. Training can be carried out at your home or other location of
your choice. Sessions will last no more than one hour and will be tailored to
suit your requirements. . Group Training: Group
sessions will be held at the Littlemoor Community Centre and will be charged at
£30 for a six-week course, which is non-refundable and payable on booking. Each
class will have a maximum of 8 dogs and their human. The classes will be weekly
and will cater for three different levels:
- Beginner/Puppy
-
Intermediate
- Advanced
The Beginner/Puppy classes are held
on Mondays at 7pm with times and dates to be confirmed for the Intermediate and
Advanced groups. Each class will be one hour long and at the end of the
course specific standards should be met which will enable students to progress
to the next group if they wish to do so. In addition, for anyone wishing
to participate, I will be training students for the Kennel Club Good Citizens
Awards Scheme. I will follow the Bronze, Silver and Gold standards to measure
improvement within the classes.
